Seasons Mall
Seasons Mall was launched in the Magarpatta area of Pune, entering a developing yet competitive landscape of malls and shopping destinations. We worked on the mall’s launch, supporting its communication as it established a strong presence while connecting with a largely captive audience within the locality.
Challenges
The communication needed to create visibility within an already active and cluttered landscape of malls and shopping destinations, with multiple malls in close proximity, while building relevance for the immediate surrounding audience, positioning the mall as a convenient and engaging destination rather than just another option.
Our Strategy
The approach was to position the mall as an accessible and engaging destination within its market, combining everyday relevance with a clear expression of its retail, food, and entertainment mix. While campaigns explored ideas of proximity and convenience alongside visually driven communication that translated the offering into simple, striking metaphors, the focus remained on engaging the captive audience within the immediate locality rather than addressing the Pune city at large. This was supported by a more self-sustained communication approach built around consistent, localised visibility.
Solution
We worked on the launch and ongoing communication for Seasons Mall, developing campaigns across print, outdoor, and on-ground touchpoints. This included both broader brand communication as well as targeted campaigns for the Magarpatta catchment, such as positioning the mall as “at your doorstep.”
As part of a self-sustained visibility approach, we developed Seasons Expressions — a four-page newspaper pull-out featuring brands within the mall, distributed through leading publications such as The Times of India, Sakal, and Lokmat. This enabled individual stores to gain visibility while collectively driving footfall to the mall. Through consistent and context-driven communication, the brand was able to establish a stronger and more recognisable presence within its market.
