Asian Paints
Asian Paints is one of India’s leading paint companies, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across decorative and industrial coatings. As the brand continues to evolve, we worked with them on shaping communication around workplace safety and behavioural change at their manufacturing facilities.
Challenges
The requirement was to translate complex safety protocols and behavioural standards into a clear, engaging, and culturally relevant communication language for the workforce. The challenge was to move beyond instructional messaging towards building a culture of safety and collective responsibility.
Our Strategy
The approach focused on humanising safety protocols through a concept-led visual language. Rather than speaking only about rules, the communication was built around the idea of ‘Pari-vartan’ — a shift in perspective that encourages individuals to take ownership of their safety and that of their colleagues. This involved creating relatable narratives and visual metaphors that could be easily understood and internalised across the facility.
Solution
We developed a series of internal communication campaigns, including posters, banners, and digital creatives, designed around themes of awareness, vigilance, and behavioural safety. This included creating a distinctive visual identity for the ‘Pari-vartan’ initiative, which was extended across multiple touchpoints within the manufacturing plants.
Through illustrations, clear messaging, and engaging layouts, the campaigns helped in strengthening the culture of safety at Asian Paints’ facilities, making protocols more accessible and encouraging a more proactive approach to workplace well-being.
